Versatile coater capable of applying coat weights of 1 GSM (0.2 LB/MSF) to 20 GSM (4.1 LB/MSF) at speeds up to 450 MPM (1500 FPM).

Wide variety of options for several types of pre-metering, stripe coating and mobile mounting are available to suit a customer’s specific needs.
Custom designed models of narrower or wider widths are available for speeds as high as 1500 MPM (4900 FPM).
Configurations & Hyco Options
Hybrid Coater (Hyco) options allows selection of operation as a standard rod coater, rod coater with additional rod pre-metering on one or both sides of the applicator roll and as a stand alone thin film, rod metered applicator (WaterDeck). It is also available with dual coating heads in the same frame for simultaneously coating both sides of the web or (when used with a turnbar) two coatings on one side of the web.

Depending on configuration and Hyco optional features, the ISO-BAR 3 rod coater can apply very thin films for barrier or moisture control. It can also apply thick films for color, adhesives for laminating/dual arch and/or other functional coatings.
Changeover between configurations can be accomplished in minutes. The ability to apply moisture to the bonding side of the liner and barrier or color coatings to the outside of the liner makes this coater very useful on corrugators.
